This year, we have decided to transform RDC into a fully digital event. Panels, booths, and even our Game Jam are all taking place on Discord and Zoom.

Many of you already use Discord to participate in community-run servers, but we wanted to write up a "how-to" for anyone who is jumping in for the first time. Discord is a messaging platform that is centered around the idea of connecting people and building communities! It can be accessed via their web client or through downloading their desktop app! Here's a step-by-step on how to join our official RDC2020 Discord server!

1.  Click this invitation link to join the server

2. Login or create an account

3. If you are already logged in, Discord should automatically prompt you to join the server

4. Once you join you may need to go through additional steps to verify your ticket information

5. Follow RDC Ticket Bot's instructions in #confirm-ticket

6. If you are having trouble with the verification process, head over to #helpdesk to open a support ticket

7. Once your information has been verified, the virtual doors RDC will be open for you to explore!
