We strongly recommend joining RDC from your computer instead of a mobile device. If you don’t already Zoom, you can download it here at no cost.
Zoom is supported on the following Operating Systems: macOS X with macOS 10.9 or later, Windows 10 Home, Pro, or Enterprise. S Mode is not supported, Windows 8 or 8.1, Windows 7, Windows Vista with SP1 or later, Windows XP with SP3 or later, Ubuntu 12.04 or higher, Mint 17.1 or higher, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.4 or higher, Oracle Linux 6.4 or higher, CentOS 6.4 or higher, Fedora 21 or higher, OpenSUSE 13.2 or higher, and ArchLinux (64-bit only)
If you don’t already have one, please sign up for a Zoom account using the same email you used to register. There is no cost for the basic Zoom account.
We encourage you to bloxify your Zoom profile. To access your Zoom profile, sign in to the Zoom web portal and click “Profile.” There you can change your first name to your Roblox username, which will be visible to other developers.
To add or change your profile picture to your Roblox Avatar, click “Change,” then adjust the crop area on your current picture or upload a new one. You can also delete your profile picture by clicking “Delete.”
Zoom will automatically adjust for 3G, WiFi or Wired environments. Recommended bandwidth is 1.2 Mbps (down).
Join the RDC Meetings and WebinarsWe will be providing links to join each part of RDC. Just click on the link for the event or activity and the desktop client will automatically connect you. Depending on your default web browser, you may be prompted to open Zoom.
In-Meeting ControlsMute / Unmute: Mute and unmute your microphone. Attendees will be muted upon entry into sessions, and for select sessions you will be able to unmute yourself.
Audio Controls (click the ^ arrow next to Mute / Unmute): Allows you to change the microphone and speaker that Zoom is currently using on your computer, leave computer audio, and access the full
Start Video / Stop Video: Turns your camera on or off.
Video Controls (click the ^ arrow next to Start Video / Stop Video): Change cameras if you have multiple cameras, select a virtual background (if enabled), or access your full video settings.
Chat in DiscordThe chat function in Zoom will be turned off, as we would like all the conversation to happen in our Discord Server.
