Dr. Daniel Morehead is a psychiatrist, psychotherapist, and Director of Residency Training for Psychiatry at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. He is formerly Assistant Residency Director at the Menninger Clinic, where he previously trained in psychiatry. Between his time at Menninger and Tufts, he spent 20 happy years in private practice in Austin, Texas. He is author of Science Over Stigma: Education and Advocacy for Mental Health published by American Psychiatric Press, and is a regular contributor to the Psychiatric Times via his column, “Affirming Psychiatry.”
Dr. Morehead speaks internationally for mental health advocacy. He is board certified in General Psychiatry and Neuropsychiatry, and maintains interests in psychotherapy, brain science, and spirituality.
