Ethical Considerations Around Guardianship for Older Adults

Kristin Marinelli holds a license with a master's in social work, is a certified care manager and is also certified in the state of Texas to provide Guardianship services. Kristin has over 23 years of experience in the healthcare industry. In 2013, Kristin joined Mir Care Consultants, Inc. as an Aging Life care Manager and is now the Senior Director of Care Management and Guardianship services for the firm. Mir Care Consultants, Inc. is a Certified Life Care Management firm focusing on Geriatric Care and Adults and Children living with special needs. Mir Care Consultants is also a private professional guardianship program serving as an advocate to oversee all aspects of an individual's personal needs. Kristin has served as a field instructor for the School of Social Work for the past 5 years with many Universities across Central Texas and is an Advanced Professional member of the Aging Life Care Association and active member of the Texas Guardianship Association.

When Kristin is not working or volunteering, Kristin enjoys spending time in Austin with her husband of 17 years and their two girls. Kristin spends the majority of her weekends attending gymnastics competitions, volleyball tournaments and soccer games across Central Texas.
