Janae Dasef is the Director of Donor Engagement at the Center for Secure and Modern Elections, a multi-state project that advises and funds state-led efforts to create more efficient and secure voting systems. The center works to support initiatives across the country including automatic voter registration in states like West Virginia, Utah, Alaska, Nevada, and Washington and also works in supporting states in the implementation processes of those initiatives in an effort to assist election administrators across the country.

Before joining the Center for Secure and Modern Elections, Janae worked with the King County Bar Association at their pro-bono legal clinics and in Senator Maria Cantwell’s state office. Janae lives in Denver, Colorado and enjoys traveling, cooking, and skiing. She holds a B.A. in Political Science with a focus in human rights from the University of Washington.
