State Voices

Bill has more than 15 years of experience building coalitions, union organizing, community organizing, public affairs and campaign management. He has dedicated his career helping numerous organizations develop strategy and build capacity to win victories that improve the lives of working people.

With a longtime commitment to training and mentoring he was also a trainer with Wellstone Action.

He has been an activist since he was a college student at the University of California Santa Barbara where he registered thousands of students to vote and lobby to expand access and affordability for students of color. He served as the President of the University of California Student Association and was the National Field Director for the United States Student Association, where he trained college students across the country and led federal and electoral campaigns.
