Description: This session will take attendees on a technical deep dive into the Roblox engine. As a developer on Roblox, it’s easy to focus on creating a game without too much thought as to how it works underneath the surface. What’s going on behind the scenes when you assign a part’s CFrame? What is it exactly that Terrain:WriteVoxels does, and why does it have an argument that needs to be 4? We’ll explore the several different subsystems that comprise the Roblox engine and discuss how their internals work today and perhaps how they will work tomorrow.
