Caroline studies exoplanet atmospheres of all shapes and sizes. She simulates the atmospheres of planets using theoretical models, in order to measure the properties of atmospheres from afar, including terrestrial planets, super Earths, gas giants, brown dwarfs, and everything in between.
Caroline received a Bachelor's degree in physics and in Earth, Atmosphere, and Planetary Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Before joining UT Austin's faculty in 2018, Caroline was a NASA Sagan postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University.
