Jess Podhola (she/her) is Executive Director of Missouri Organizing and Voter Engagement Collaborative (MOVE). MOVE exists to empower ordinary people to reclaim democracy in the state of Missouri through collaborative integrated voter engagement and multi-racial movement building. The State Voices “table” for Missouri, MOVE is the state’s coordinating body for grassroots organizing groups doing voter engagement work.  Before coming to MOVE in 2022, Jess worked in labor organizing, governmental affairs, community organizing, electoral campaigns, and party politics for over 30 years, with the last 15 years in Missouri. She and her family live outside of Kansas City in Independence, Missouri.
