What to Expect 

The vision of the Veteran Ready Summit is to provide an immediately applicable, real-world toolkit to bring your company into a Veteran-Ready organization. We meet your company where you are, whether you are just beginning to learn best practices or you are a leader in the field. Topics will include government resources, creating a Veteran-Ready culture, acquiring talent in an increasingly competitive employment pool, hiring Veterans from higher education, and the Veteran employment landscape, among many others. 

This year, select attendees will have the opportunity to attend breakout sessions based on their level of experience with military hiring and retention. One of these sessions will be run by PsychArmor Institute. PsychArmor is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for the SHRM-CPSM or SHRM-SCPSM. This program is valid for 6 PDC(s) for the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP and has been submitted to the HR Certification Institute for review All attendees who complete it will earn a Veteran Ready Organization certificate. Event Agenda  

We encourage all attendees to join us for additional events held across Washington D.C. to make the most of this trip and to solidify and promote your commitment to hiring and retaining the military community.

Each event is free of charge for all attendees. However, several have limited seating available or you will need to provide additional information to our team to attend (i.e. the ESGR Statement of Support Signing Ceremony at the Pentagon where all attending organizations will sign a non-binding Statement of Support). [[UPDATE: The Pentagon event is currently at capacity.]] When you register for the Veteran Ready Summit, you can select which you plan to attend, and your name will automatically be added to the guest list.
