Kiana Jackson (she/her) serves as the Research and Coalition Organizing Manager of New Disabled South where she focuses on building the Southern Disability Justice Coalition, leveraging data to yield powerful insights for the benefits of the disabled community, and leading the organization’s research strategy. A native of Albany, Georgia, Kiana has spent her career working in rural and minority communities to build capacity for grassroots organizations and empower communities at large. She brings over five years of community organizing experience, data analytics skills, and research expertise.

Throughout her time in community advocacy, Kiana has served as a Data Consultant and Data Strategist for local political campaigns and nonprofit organizations in South Georgia. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Albany State University and a Masters of Science in Data Analytics and Policy from Johns Hopkins University. She currently resides in Albany, Georgia.
