Kristin oversees the management and growth of the State Voices' Development department and fundraising activities, builds deep partnerships and solicit generous investments, and supports the State Voices leadership team.

Kristin brings extensive political, campaign, membership, and non-profit fundraising experience. She has fundraised for national organizations including: EMILY's List, the Democratic National Committee (DNC), the American Association of University Women (AAUW), The Fairness Project, and the Democratic Governors Association (DGA). Having supported national voter engagement and outreach work, she knows the incredible impact that strong financial support, coalitions, and partnerships make for a more equitable future.

Kristin comes to State Voices with an academic and personal passion for gender justice (abortion and health care access, unpaid labor, and leadership), commitment to cooperative (versus competitive) relationships, and investment in lifelong learning and accountability as a white person in a deeply unequal society. Kristin earned her MA in Women's Studies from San Diego State University and her BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from Virginia Tech.
